A. Standard
Cast Iron or Steel Fabricated Motors available.
B. HRC
coupling allows for impeller adjustment
C. Top
adjustment for impeller wear to maintain hydraulic performance and
efficiency.
D.
Conservatively sized floating radial bearing, lightly loaded due to
the “Twin Volute” casing and high-capacity,
matched-pair angular contact thrust bearings.
E. Rugged
cantilever shaft. No submerged bearings or stuffing
box.
F. Renewable
shaft sleeve protects shaft from wear.
G. Semi-open
or enclosed impeller matched to casing for the best hydraulic
efficiency.
H. Bottom
suction inlet with external agitator to draw in the maximum
solids.
I. The double discharge Twin Volute
construction provides balanced radial loads.

THE ADVANTAGES OF
BOTTOM SUCTION CONFIGURATION
-
The design allows for fully, partial
and non-submerged conditions.
-
The twin volute casing is designed to
balance hydraulic forces exerted on the pump shaft during
operation. This promotes extended bearing and mechanical seal
life.
-
The agitator at the inlet to the
impeller breaks down and re-suspends compacted solids thereby,
assisting the pump to transfer a higher percentage of
solids.
-
All the pumps can be supplied
certified to flameproof specification.
-
All pumps have double mechanical seals
for improved sealing of the motor.
-
