The SV pump is fully
capable of pumping abrasive slurries with large solids with minimal
particle disintegration

|
A. The motor
chamber is filled with oil which lubricates the bearings and the
seal faces and assist in dissipation of heat.
B. Motor
windings are manufactured in all standard voltages for both 50 and
60 hertz power supply.
C. The
waterway design provides cooling and permits continuous operation
without motor submergence.
D. The sealed
oil filled motor chamber is fitted with a moisture detector to
detect water entering into the motor housing.
E. Double
mechanical seals are at submergence pressure (not at discharge
pressure). The internal lubrication causes pressure on seal
faces.
F. Recessed
impeller designed for highest efficiency and minimum
wear.
G. High
capacity matched pair angular contact thrust bearings provide high
capacity for the handling of high specific gravity
slurries.
H. Vortex volute designed for the handling
of large solids.

THE ADVANTAGE OF
THE VORTEX CONFIGURATION
-
Vortex design passes solids equal to
suction diameter
-
Recessed impeller design
minimizes wear
-
Extra thick wearing parts for heavy
concentration of abrasive solids
-
Replaceable back wearing
plate
-
Made from slurry pump metallurgy and
other abrasion/corrosion resisting alloys
-
Cantilever shaft requires no shaft
seal or submerged bearings
-
Heavy duty bearings
-
Capacities up to
400m³/h
-
Heads up to 50m
